Is a spade bit good for making a hole in aluminum? • For the record I did not think this was a good idea, but the manufacturer of this aluminum door said in their instruction to make a pilot hole then use the supplied spade bit • I will admit those holes turned out very clean and I was wrong • We used the Makita oil impulse impact for this, it’s a lot smoother and quiet then a normal impact It’s available from Factory Authorized Outlet . . . #construction #door #tools #work #home #house #renovat
