In this video we compare how a traditional mini skid steer with a trencher and a Ventrac with trencher compare at digging trenches. We picked up a very common mini skid steer from a local rental yard, and used a Ventrac 4500Y with approximately 400 hours on it. The Mini Skid featured the same Kubota engine that powers the Ventrac 4500Y. Both units are similar in weight as well.
