Meet red wolf Tyke! Tyke was born at the Wolf Conservation Center in 2015 and is an essential member of his endangered species. With only 10 red wolves known to remain in the wild, captive red wolves like Tyke are the future of red wolf recovery. While he currently resides at the WCC with his mate Lava, we're hopeful that one day the pair (and any future children) will be released to their ancestral home in North Carolina.
